Equinix, a global interconnection and data center company declared that it will be prolonging access to Alibaba Cloud, the third-largest global provider of Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS). Alibaba Cloud is the digital technology and intellectual backbone of Alibaba Group. Access will be offered by Platform Equinix for clients from 17 metros worldwide. By its API integration with ECX Fabric, the extension will let enterprises from these global markets efficiently and confidentially connect to Alibaba Cloud on Platform Equinix.
9700 clients including 1800 network providers
As per the announcement, Alibaba Cloud could additionally experience safe, protected access to a powerful interconnected ecosystem of more than 9700 clients including 1800 network providers and around 2900 cloud and IT service providers worldwide to improve performance, lower latency, and improve its efficiency for its clients.
