This is the second event getting canceled because of the threat of coronavirus. After MWC 2020 this is the second time where an event is getting revoked due to coronavirus. The CEO of Cloudfest and Namescon announced that there will be no CloudFest 2020 this year.
Soeren von Varchmin said we are concerned about the health and safety of our attendees. He further said partners, presenters, and colleagues is of the utmost importance to us. We cannot risk the lives of 7000 people who were going to join for CloudFest2020.

Cloud fest is the event where great thinkers, decision-makers come to attend and form a new path.
CloudFest 2020 canceled
The risk of spreading of coronavirus is too high. The event was to happen between March 14 – 19 in Europa Park in Rust, Germany. The team says the news of event getting canceled will bring frustration. But we need to understand why the decision to cancel the event was made.
We are thankful to partners who showed cooperation and support. Whoever was planning to join us and made a booking through the cloud fest tool will be refunded. People who booked passes, hotels, or train tickets via the cloud fest registration tool will get a full refund.
According to sources, the next edition of CloudFest is proposed to be scheduled on March 20-25 2021. Tickets will go on sale late this summer.
