Lately, the Meta-owned messaging app WhatsApp has been rolling out several new features to make the app more exciting and engaging. Now, according to a report by popular WhatsApp features tracker ‘WABetaInfo’, WhatsApp is working on redesigning the interface of its Contact Info screen for both Android and iOS platforms.
Meanwhile, the tracker has shared on Twitter about the redesigned Contact Info page and said iOS users will get this feature update in the bringing and will be rolled out to Android users later. The tracker also shared the screenshot of the Contact Info page currently in development.
In another report, the tracker said that WhatsApp is working on a new option that allows users to filter nearby businesses while they are accessing the in-app business directory.
Meanwhile, the in-app businesses directory feature that allows users to search nearby users was rolled out to beta users in São Paulo in September. The in-app business directory is not available to global users yet.
The new option will allow users to filter out results especially for places like grocery stores, restaurants, and clothing. The report further shared a screenshot of the filter business feature in WhatsApp.
The previous week, WhatsApp was spotted working on visual indicators for E2EE Status and calls. And at the start of this month, the messaging app rolled out the new voice waveforms to both iOS and Android beta users.
