Twitter rolls pinned conversations feature for its Direct Message (DM) service on Android, iOS as well as the Web platform.

The feature lets users pin the chat conversations to the top of the inbox. Regardless, if newer messages are obtained from other chats, the pinned conversations will stay on top.

On Friday, the microblogging platform announced that the users can now pin max six conversations to the top of the inbox on Android, iOS and Twitter for Web.

Initially, the feature was part of Twitter Blue which is the company’s paid subscription service that allows users to check out the new features prior to being rolled out to the general public.

When you pin a chat, it will be shifted to a different section named Pinned conversations while all the other chats will be listed under All conversations.

The pinned conversation feature is beneficial, particularly for those who have crowded inbox and don’t want to miss out on the chat from their favourite ones.

Pinned conversations feature is quite a common feature that is available within Signal, Telegram, WhatsApp and Apple’s and Facebook Messenger. This feature allows users to pin conversations to the top. The microblogging platform is the last among the above-mentioned service to roll out this feature.
