Spectro Cloud that is an enterprise cloud-native infrastructure company announced $7.5 million in seed funding led by Sierra Ventures with participation from Boldstart Ventures. Kubernetes infrastructure stack
The company Spectro Cloud helps the enterprise in customizing Kubernetes infrastructure stack as per their business needs by using a declarative model to define cluster profiles. These cluster profiles are then used for automating deployment and maintaining clusters across the enterprise.
Tenry Fu, co-founder, and CEO of Spectro Cloud said, in the past, they have seen enterprises struggle with managed Kubernetes options, and also seen them waste time and money trying to do everything in-house. Tenry Fu said his company Spectro Cloud is providing a method to manage Kubernetes at scale without having to switch their entire way of working and don’t have to worry about lifecycle management.
Fu and his co-founders have expertise in this field as they were previously been part of CliQr, a company that served customers manage applications over hybrid cloud environments. In 2016 they sold the company to Cisco and last spring they began developing Spectro Cloud. Currently, the company is working with 16 beta customers.
