Schneider Electric, a worldwide leader in energy management and automation, has declared the latest software service solution ‘Cloud-Hosted Power Management’. The cloud-based system currently available in Canada, allows users to observe and manage their power and energy consumption in real-time, eradicating the necessity for time and resource-intensive consignments.

Vice President of Digital Energy, Schneider Electric Canada, Hugo Lafontaine stated that in the current steadfast environment, the necessity to monitor and observe power consumption is highly crucial. They believe that not every one of their clients has the capability to take this on themselves, the launch of their Cloud-Hosted Power Management solution is an interesting addition to their portfolio. Cloud-Hosted Power Management solution enables users to put all their concentration on maximizing productivity, evade downtime, and optimizing performance.

The EcoStruXure Power cloud-based power management solution provides better adaptability to mid and small size facilities spread over Canada who need power management systems but cannot afford or maintain a complete onsite solution or have doubts or insecurities regarding cybersecurity. The cloud-based format takes maximum advantage of Schneider Electric’s current Power Monitoring Expert (PME) software, but the data is remotely hosted, maintained, and backed by Schneider Electric, taking a notable amount of workload off the user.

Schneider Electric’s PME provides clients with power and energy intelligence at the ease of their fingertips, letting them handle power quality, authenticity, and availability, optimize current assets, and stimulate energy efficiency. Clients have access to a user-friendly dashboard through which they can monitor power usage. Additionally, they also have access to real-time alarms. The EcoStruxure Power cloud-based power management solution is hosted in a Canadian data center, which achieves the most necessary safety and accessibility standards.
