WordPress 6.1 Second release candidate rolled out and is currently under testing. The update comes just a few weeks before the scheduled release date of WordPress 6.1 i.e: November 1st.

Meanwhile, WordPress suggested users install the update on a test server because it’s a test version.

In the second release candidate, about 65 bug fixes thereby bringing the total tally of bug fixes to 2000 since WordPress 6.0. The upcoming WordPress 6.1 update will be the third major release in 2022.

Last but not the least, users can test WordPress 6.1 Release Candidate 2 by installing and activating the WordPress Beta Tester plugin or by directly downloading the RC2 version (zip) file.
