Lately, Wine developers rolled out Wine version 7.14 as a part of the weekly update.

The tool that allows gamers to play Windows games on Linux has obtained a new update. The newest update includes about 19 bug fixes and enhancements.

With the release of Wine 7.14, issues with games like Civilization IV, Unravel Two, Cheat Engine, Waves Central, World of Tanks, Roblox, Total War Shogun 2, and numerous other fixes.

Some other highlights of Wine 7.14 are;

  • More progress on syscall interface for USER32
  • Improved font fallbacks in DirectWrite
  • Some fixes for socket shutdowns
