WhatsApp Desktop may soon get a new tab to show call history.
According to the popular WhatsApp beta tracker ‘WABetaInfo’, users may soon see call logs in the sidebar of the WhatsApp Desktop app.
Currently, the calls tab is visible to users who installed the latest beta version of WhatsApp Desktop.
Though WhatsApp Desktop beta for Windows 2.2246.4.0 brings the call history, there is no clarity on whether the app will display calls made through the desktop app or across multiple devices. Eventually, the feature is currently under testing, we may have to wait before it comes to the stable channel.
In the last few months, WhatsApp introduced several new features such as an option to add polls within the chat as well as communities where users can add separate groups under one community. Also the support for video calling up to 32 people.
