Lately, WhatsApp was spotted working on bringing several new features to its encrypted chat messaging app, WhatsApp, and also the WhatsApp Business, a platform for businesses to connect with their clients.
The instant messaging platform is planning to make the community feature available in the forthcoming update. The feature will offer group admins additional control and the capability to link and manage multiple groups together.
Additionally, the company is also working on a feature that offers WhatsApp Business users the ability to add cover photos. However, this feature may not be rolled out to regular WhatsApp accounts.
Popular WhatsApp features tracker WABetaInfo reports WhatsApp is working on a feature that offers group admins the ability to build communities on the chat-messaging platform. The game-changing feature will allow admins to manage multiple groups and also communicate with all the group participants from a single place.
Yet another report by WABetaInfo mentions that WhatsApp Business will soon incorporate a new feature that will permit users to set a cover photo on their profile. At the moment, WhatsApp is working on that feature and will take some time before rolling it out to the general public.
The report further notes that the cover photo functionality may not be available to regular WhatsApp users and may only be available for WhatsApp Business users.
