PacketFabric, a well-known NaaS (Network-as-a-Service) platform provider has announced it now supports inter-region and multi-cloud routing across North America and EMEA.

Meanwhile, PacketFabric clients can now access the PackerFabric portal and API to provision Cloud Router instances on demand and connect with cloud provider on-ramps across the UK, Europe, and North America at high speeds ranging up to 100Gbps (Gigabit per second).

Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer at PacketFabric said that while the businesses and enterprises across the globe are actively scaling their hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure, they need reliable connectivity that matches that scale. These enterprises don’t need high latency, low bandwidth, non-resilient routing choke points that in turn set their whole architecture in jeopardy.

And, PacketFabric’s Cloud Router offering is one such global multi-cloud routing that can connect colocation, cloud providers, and headquarters at 100G in just a few clicks.

The PacketFabric Cloud Router allows businesses and enterprises to connect with various geographical regions within a single provider. For instance, AWS US-East in Northern Virginia and AWS EU-West in Paris.

Cloud Router likewise enables connecting between regions in distinct cloud service providers (CSPs); Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM, and Oracle.

Meanwhile, Cloud Router likely can connect virtual circuits (VCs) to hundreds of PacketFabric PoPs(point-of-presence) in colocation data centers around the world.

PacketFabric’s offering, Cloud Router is deployed as a group of some distributed virtual routing resources which is spread over its 50T+ global backbone network. This, in turn, help optimize for data plane throughput, low latency, and path resiliency.

At the moment, Cloud Router is available across North America, Europe, and the UK. The NaaS platform provider offers the Cloud Router offering on a monthly subscription.
