Forrester Consulting’s recent study, commissioned by Oracle, displays the significance of multi-hybrid cloud programs and data protection management.

The research, named Leading the Needle: Data Management concerning the Multi-Hybrid Era of IT, gathered information to probe insights, and notify business-critical decisions. According to the research, 82% of the 670 senior technology decision-makers understand that investing in the right data will guide to better business results. But, 73% of respondents stated that they have diverse and siloed data plans that are obstructing them from giving business stakeholders with the information they require.

About multi-cloud

Multi-cloud is defined as the use of multiple cloud computing and storage services in a single network structure. A multi-cloud environment consists of an all-private cloud, an all-public cloud, or a union of both. It lets companies choose various cloud services from diverse providers. So, it allows companies to join the best services that specific platform grants.

While 64% of respondents are meeting the difficulty of maintaining a multi-hybrid infrastructure, 70% of organizations understand the requirement to analyze their IT systems as a high precedence.

  • 82% need their information plan to drive to a more reliable understanding of the client and a better client experience.
  • 73% of companies describe diverse and siloed data procedures that prevent them from obtaining this goal.
  • 36% of the data is yet received on-premise, 19% is hosted on a public cloud and 18% on private cloud.

The study also shows that cares and focus on data security and data governance are restricting businesses from earning key perks. According to the study, the demand for diversification and way to different abilities or distinct technology drives the adoption of multi-cloud data hosting.

On the other hand, when we look the data security management, although 83% of companies consider that data security requirements are of high or critical priority, half of the respondents argue about absence of the ability to secure data protection and comply with security laws.
