Search Engine Giant Google is working on a feature for Google Android that allows users to delete the last 15 minutes of their search history. One of Google’s spokesperson confirmed the rollout of this feature.

Back in the 2021 I/O conference, Google announced that it is bringing some new features to mobile search.

The feature is already available to iPhone users since the last summer. However, after the rollout of the latest Google app update, Android users can too erase the last 15 minutes of their Google search history.

According to a report by the popular tech news site, The Verge, Google has started rolling out the feature to delete the last 15 minutes of search history on its Android app.

Meanwhile, a few users reported that they had received the feature update on their Android devices.

Google already offers several methods to erase the entire search history, and some of the options like to delete search history older than 3 months, 18 months, or 36 months old.

Now, as Google introduces the new 15-minute delete option, it will be a perfect tool for users who want to remove individual items from just one session quickly.

Though Google has confirmed that the feature will be available to iOS and Android versions, it hasn’t given any confirmation whether this feature will be rolled out to desktop users.
