Equinix which is an interconnection and data center company declared they completed the acquisition of Packet. The Packet is a Bare Metal Server & On Basis Cloud Provider. As a part of the $335 million transaction, the joined company will manage the existing Packet trade named Packet, an Equinix company.
Zachary Smith who was the earlier CEO of Packet will now serve as managing director of the bare metal business. Equinix intends to create high-level solutions for industries. The company also aims to quickly expand the digital base on a global scale. Thereby increasing high performance and robust integration to the public cloud. The packet company is trying to exploit the market with its high-class solutions.
