Bulgarian Telco Neterra Opens Data Center in Sofia

Bulgarian Telco Neterra opens a data center in Sofia. The company already has a data center named SDC1 in Bulgaria’s capital, Sofia.

Last week, Neterrra opened a new data center named Sofia Data Center 2 (SDC 2). Neterra’s SDC2 is located near the existing SDC1 data center.

Sofia Data Center 2 in Bulgaria is a four-story facility developed in accordance with Tier III Uptime standards. SDC2 offers a 2MW power capacity across 15,000 sq ft or 1,400 square meters.

Neterra’s new data center is an important link in the critical infrastructure of Bulgaria and Southeast Europe. This is one of the places where the networks of Western telecom operators connect to the Middle East and Asia. Neterra’s importance in this chain of security has always been highly valued.

With the opening of the SDC 2 data center, Neterra currently has four data centers; two facilities in Sofia city and two other facilities in Stolnik and Ruse.
