The WooCommerce team has launched the newest version of its solution i.e 7.1 bringing in 185 commits for WooCommerce Core and 162 commits for WooCommerce Blocks.
WooCommerce 7.1 update comes with several new features for store owners. One such feature introduced in the update eliminates distraction and provides helpful texts to illustrate essential fields within the product form. Users need to head over to Add products > Start with the template page and then choose from any of the templates and click Go.
WooCommerce Blocks introduces six new header patterns and six new footer patterns. Additionally, the Place Order button displays Place Order or payment method label.
Following the new update, users can change the label with a JavaScript snippet.
Besides other changes, WooCommerce 7.1 brings two new actions as well as a new filter:
- woocommerce_before_delete_order: Fires immediately before an order is deleted from the database.
- woocommerce_before_trash_order: Fires immediately before an order is trashed.
- woocommerce_feature_description_tip: Allows customizing the message that appears under the description of each feature on the features settings page.
