Popular chat messaging app, WhatsApp is bringing the ability to link your WhatsApp account to a tablet.

According to the popular WhatsApp feature tracker WABetaInfo, a few selected beta testers can link their WhatsApp account to an Android tablet. Until now, WhatsApp didn’t allow accessing one account on multiple Android devices.

However, the latest update on WhatsApp for Android allows beta testers to use existing WhatsApp account on their Tablet. In other news, some beta testers on WhatsApp for iOS are receiving a new feature that allows them to search for messages according to the date.

If you are one of the users who have signed up for WhatsApp’s beta program, you will see an in-app banner announcing the feature of linking a WhatsApp account to an Android tablet.

The banner on the top of the chat reads, ‘Have an Android tablet? WhatsApp for tablet is available for beta testers.’ The banner is visible as part of the WhatsApp beta 2.22.25.8 update for Android, making the version compatible with tablets.
