WhatsApp begins rolling out a new interface for voice calls. It seems WhatsApp is on an update spree with numerous exciting updates over the last few months.
The popular chat messaging platform, WhatsApp is rolling out the new update to some select beta testers on Android. The update also includes waveforms for group voice calls. Furthermore, the update also includes waveforms for group voice calls.
Additionally, WhatsApp is said to be working on a new screen for responding to users regarding their account ban reviews. The ban review screen seems to dynamically adjust the color pallets based on the theme selected by the user.
Meanwhile, the popular WhatsApp beta tracker, WABetaInfo reports that the WhatsApp for Android beta 188.8.131.52 brings a new visually appealing user interface for voice calls. Some other users reported having seen the change on WhatsApp for Android beta 184.108.40.206.
Since December, WhatsApp was working on making the voice calls’ interface more sleek and compact.
The WhatsApp beta tracker further notes that the caller interface likewise brings voice waveforms while making voice calls in a group. Voice waveforms will be visible to all the participants to tell users about the active speakers during the group voice call.
At present, the new update is available to select Android beta testers. iOS beta-testers will need to wait for a few days before they experience the new update.
Last but not the least, WABetaInfo reported that WhatsApp would introduce a new reason for banning the accounts on the platform. An updated procedure for ban review will also come into effect. However, the exact date of the release hasn’t been mentioned within the report.
