OVHcloud and Atos are partnering up to create a public cloud solution that will offer 100 percent European public cloud service to its French clients.
The public cloud solution will be deployed within Atos data centers in France. The OVHcloud and Atos’ cloud platform will be the outcome of combining the OVHcloud DaaS and Atos’ cybersecurity, bare-metal solutions.
The combination of Atos OneCloud and Atos OneCloud Sovereign Shield, ‘a service that suffices the digital sovereignty as well as data sovereignty need of governments and industries across the globe’ plus OVH cloud’s Public Cloud solution will be a game-changer.
The combined offering will Atos clients to leverage the power of hybrid cloud configurations i.e; Atos Digital Hybrid Cloud solution for Private Cloud and OVHcloud’s Public Cloud.
Besides this, the client can take advantage of public cloud features, fully sovereign cloud management services, and best-in-class cybersecurity protection.
CEO of OVHcloud, Mr. Michel Paulin said that they are thrilled to collectively work with Atos in bringing its sovereign solutions and thereby offering their clients more secured solutions than before. He further said that both the companies are tightening their partnership and will continue to bring additional value to their clients.
Meanwhile, a cooperative project has begun to assess how the Atos data centers will benefit the OVHcloud clients in France.
Besides this, Atos and OVHcloud are said to be collectively working on new cooperative Research and Development efforts which include the client access to the Atos quantum computer simulator and possible integration of Atos BullSequana S servers into the OVHCloud’s Bare Metal solution.
