MTN Zambia to Launch 5G Services Next Week

Zambia’s leading telecommunication provider, MTN Zambia to launch its 5G services in the country next week.

According to a report by Lusaka Times, the Zambian telco will launch its 5G services as soon as November 24.

Felix Mutati, Zambia’s technology, and science minister, talking about the launch, said, Because of the positive things that we are doing next week, working with MTN, we are going to launch 5G on November 24—creating a positive customer experience, creating the necessary speed, and making Zambia indeed in the champions league.

Meanwhile, Mutati didn’t offer any details about where the 5G services will be available during the Innovation Africa Summit.
