The Fedora Project declared Fedora 32 beta is available including the latest release of GNOME. Fedora32 is scheduled to be released at the end of April but you can download its beta version from Fedora’s website. Now with the inclusion of EarlyOOM in In Fedora 32 Workstation Beta, users are allowed to quickly recover and gain access over their system even in low memory situations with heavy swap usage. Another feature we can see in Fedora 32 Workstation Beta is that the operating system enables the fs.trim timer by default. Performance and wear leveling of solid-state drives is improved with the update.
GNOME 3.36
The latest Fedora Beta consists of the latest release of the GNOME desktop environment. A Do Not Disturb button in the notifications is added in GNOME 3.36. The GNOME 3.36 comes with better GUI and setup for parental controls and virtualization, and tweaks to Settings to the new Fedora Beta. An updated version of popular packages like Ruby, Python, and Perl is included in the Fedora 32 Beta. Most importantly the latest version of the software that is based on Linux includes version 10 of the popular GNU Compiler Collection (GCC).
