cPanel has declared TSR-2020-0002 which contains new builds for all public update levels. With TSR-2020-0002 release, the vulnerabilities and bugs will be fixed for the cPanel & WHM product. These builds are currently accessible to all clients via the regular update system. The latest update got the CVSSv3 scores rating ranging from 2.2 to 5.8. The team has advised users to enable auto-updates as soon as possible to receive updates in the future.
Two bugs fixed
cPanel stated that with the release of TSR-2020-0002 two bugs in cPanel & WHM software versions 86, 84, and 78 have been fixed. Also in the future, the cPanel team will add new information regarding the behavior of security issues.
For users who have already set up, cPanel & WHM servers can automatically update their systems. cPanel advises other users to update their cPanel & WHM installations manually to get the latest security patch and bug fixes.
