Since the evening of September 1, several Twitter users reported having faced issues with the popular microblogging platform.

Users said they were flashed with “Something went wrong. Try reloading” and “Uh oh, there was an error” messages. Mobile users also faced similar issues.

Even according to the popular website outage detection platform, Downdetector, Twitter was down for several users as they couldn’t connect to Twitter’s servers.

As of now the reason behind yesterday’s outage is unclear, and Twitter is working fine today.

Meanwhile, the Twitter Support account has remained silent about the current outage, and the firm is yet to update the API Status page.

In yet another news, Twitter announced that it would offer an Edit Tweet feature in the forthcoming weeks. The feature will be introduced as a part of testing Twitter Blue subscribers.

You can check out the Twitter blog post for more details about the Edit Tweet feature.
