Karl Zimmerman was born on December 25th, 1983, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He was adopted by the family of Catherine and Gary Zimmerman. However, at the age of 36 on March 5, 2020, Karl Zimmerman passed away unexpectedly. On March 13, 2020, the Funeral Service will be held at Zacherl Funeral Home, Fond du Lac from 9:30 AM to 12:00 noon.
Tech Enthusiast since childhood
Karl Zimmerman was a tech enthusiast since he was a child. At the age of 14 from his $100 Christmas money, he purchased a reseller account to begin his shared web hosting business. He used to teach people and small businesses HTML coding to help them develop their personal websites.
According to his obituary, before dropping out to focus on the business Karl used to attend his client’s calls during lectures at the Winnebago Lutheran Academy. In his over 20 year period, Karl evolved Steadfast into a multi-million dollar business based in Chicago. Steadfast is offering cloud-based services for over a decade along with colocation and VPS services.
Zimmerman was a member of the Chicago Engineers Foundation and also a member of the Rotary Club of Chicago. He used to train High School students for jobs and place them in summer internships.
Talking about favorite things Zimmerman said he likes to eat a cheeseburger with his friends after a good productive day.
