SpinUp declared that it will be giving $200 worth cloud services to students, faculty, and researchers who have .edu email addresses. The company SpinUp has promised to give away up to $ 20 million in hosting capacity from now till the end of May. This step was taken to help in curbing damages caused by university and college campus closures due to the COVID-19 outbreak. It is said that students, researchers, and faculty who has .edu email address will receive $200 credit. It is to promote remote learning and teaching environment.
