Microsoft is planning to build a data center in Pune, India.
As per a report by The Economic Times, Microsoft is building a data center on a 25-acre acquired land in the Pimpri-Waghere locality in the northwest of Maharashtra city.
Back in 2015, Microsoft opened three Indian cloud regions in Pune, Chennai, and Mumbai while adding three availability zones in the Pune cloud region.
Additionally, Microsoft at the beginning of the year announced its plans for developing a cloud region in Hyderabad. However, the company didn’t offer any of the details.
