Ragnar Locker ransomware gang threatens to expose the stolen data of victims if they try to contact the FBI or police to seek help against the attack.

In the past also, Ragnar Locker attacked several well-established companies with ransomware attacks and later demanded millions of dollars in ransom fees.

Ragnar Locker group warns to leak data if law enforcement authorities are contacted

Lately, the Ragnar Locker ransomware group published an announcement on their darknet leak site. The group said that they will publish complete details of the victims if they find that they are seeking the help of legal authorities like the FBI, police, or any other investigation agencies.

According to BleepingComputer, they first saw the note on Ragnar Locker’s data leak site which read as:

“So from this moment we warn all our clients, if you will hire any recovery company for negotiations or if you will send requests to the police/FBI/investigators, we will consider this as a hostile intent and we will initiate the publication of whole compromised data immediately”
