Iron Mountain declared that it has registered a 3-megawatt data center lease at its SIN-1 data center with a Fortune Global 200 company in Singapore. To comply with the need of clients, Iron Mountain is presently developing out 2 megawatts of turn-key data center capacity at SIN-1. Iron Mountain has commenced construction on an extra 2.25 megawatts of capacity, consisting of 1.5 megawatts of capacity that were owned for development and a further 750 kilowatts that have been added to the plan of the facility to meet future demand.

Around 7 megawatts of capacity over four data halls

The iron mountain has seen strong momentum in the market after opening its data center facility in September 2019. Iron Mountain’s present volume at SIN-1 will be 87% use and the volume under development will be 47% pre-leased.

SIN-1 is an enterprise-class data center facility located in Serangoon, Singapore. SIN-1 gives access to several hybrid IT services through its 7 megawatts of capacity over four data halls at full build-out. The services include cloud backup, recovery from disaster, and migration. Additionally, a wide range of flexible colocation deployment choices by secure cages, private suites, and individual cabinets. Other highlights of the SIN-1 data center campus include; diverse fiber points of entry, operational excellence: 100% uptime SLAs, Industry-leading compliance: SOC 2 Type I, SOC 3, ISO 27001, and 50001, PCI-DSS, TVRA, and OSPAR.
