AWS opens up its Marketplace in Australia and New Zealand

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has begun its AWS Marketplace and AWS Data Exchange to Australia and New Zealand. The independent software vendors (ISVs), data providers and consulting partners in the country will be able to transact in AWS Marketplace and AWS Data Exchange.

AWS said that with more access to the depth of software and data products from the delivers in Australia New Zealand. The worldwide clients can easily migrate and easily build their operations in the cloud thereby reaching quicker data-driven decisions than before.

AWS Marketplace and AWS Data Exchange has over 260,000 monthly active users as per a claim by the tech giant. A sales channel is provided by the AWS Marketplace for independent software vendors (ISVs) and consulting partners to sell their solutions to AWS clients.

The AWS Data Exchange which was released last year is a service that is helpful for clients to find, subscribe and use third-party data in the cloud.

AWS stated the Data Exchange is for customers which include enterprises, scientific researchers, and academic institutions. It is designed to remove problems faced by clients enterprises, scientific researchers, and academic institutions. Now they no longer have to wait weeks to receive shipped physical media or manage different billing relationships and licensing contracts.

The worldwide AWS clients can now buy directly from Australia and New Zealand-based software and data delivers, and software can also be procured through local and regional consulting associates with Consulting Partner Private Offers in AWS Marketplace.

AWS announced the availability of ANZ based software like Cloudwave, Farrago AI, Raygun, Aportio, Operata, Dubber, and Javln in AWS Marketplace. The company also added that this week AWS was planning to host its AWS Summit and Amazon Innovation Day in Sydney. However, the company canceled the event due to the coronavirus outbreak.
