Among Us has won both the awards that it was nominated for at The Game Awards 2020.
There was some intense competition in both the categories but InnerSloth’s smash hit game Among Us came out forward and secured the title for Best Multiplayer Game and Best Mobile Game at the Game Awards 2020.
Released just a few months ago, the game grabbed the attention and enthusiasm of millions of players across the globe.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Among Us became a medium for players who were stuck at home and were looking for ways to be social with friends and turned the party game into the most popular mobile game of 2020.
Among Us also repeatedly appeared in the list of top 10 most played games on Steam.
It’s no surprise that Among Us won both the awards as its developers were constantly focused on enhancing the game and deliver player satisfaction. In the Best Multiplayer category, Among Us defeated Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Call of Duty: Warzone, Fall Guys, and Valorant. It defeated Call of Duty: Mobile, Genshin Impact, Legends of Runeterra, and Pokémon Café Mix for the Best Mobile Game title.
The victory speaks about the strength Among Us has at its core. Though fans of other games may be disappointed, it’s a magnificent victory.
