AC Niellsen’s co-founder Simon Hartnell passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 55.

For those who don’t know, AC Niellsen is a prominent independent firm in real estate and data centers known for offering strategic advice and deal execution.

Back in 2010, Simon established AC Niellsen as a data center advisory company for investors in the UK and mainland European real estate markets.

In 2021, the company said that it also established itself as one of Europe’s prominent advisors on data centers while helping in delivering over 350 data centers, containerized solutions, and computer rooms across Benelux, Europe, and several other regions across the globe.

Meanwhile, the company posted a message on its website saying, “It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the unexpected death of our partner and friend, Simon Hartnell, who passed away on Sunday 6 February 2022.”

“Simon has been one of the founding partners of AC Niellsen and will be dearly missed. Our thoughts go out to the Hartnell family.”

Additionally, colleagues and friends of Simon Hartnell shared their condolences on LinkedIn.
